BACKGROUND

Tim Herman brings a diverse and accomplished professional background to his role as a Real Estate Advisor, serving buyers and sellers across Hilton Head Island and the greater Lowcountry. His career spans leadership, sales excellence, and entrepreneurship - most notably as President and Owner of a regional independent insurance agency for 17 years, where he grew both team size and revenue by more than 300%. A graduate of Miami University (Ohio) and a four-year All-Conference swimmer, Tim developed the discipline, competitiveness, and consistency that continue to define his professional approach. Prior to his work in insurance, he was recognized as Salesperson of the Year for both Wilson Sporting Goods (Pro Golf Division) and Head Sportswear (Golf & Tennis Division), all before the age of 30.Tim’s connection to Hilton Head Island runs deep. His family has owned property in Sea Pines since 1972, and he is the proud father of four children raised on the island, giving him a genuine, long-standing understanding of the community, lifestyle, and long-term value of coastal ownership.
